Fear in the Field

Alrighty,

We are holding FEAR in the FIELD on Sat the 1st November.

Old bearded celtic folk used to call this day “Samhain” (Scots Gaelic: Samhuinn) meaning “summer’s end.” and variations can also mean something about:  “Darkness or Lord of the Dead”. It was the start of the Druids New year and they believed the veil between the living and the dead was thinnest around this time they also believed a whole load of other bearded peoples stuff. It basically means its gonna be cold and dark for bloody ages and what better way to celebrate than to drink booze by the fire and scare yourself silly at FEAR in the FIELD.

Its not a Music Festival its a Halloween Party. Yes ok it will be dam freezing but we promise to keep you all warm by setting things on fire and we’ve got a few acoustic bands playing so as to muffle the horrid screams of ginger people being sacrificed, i mean…..er.

FEAR in the FIELD offers to you a “Scare Zone,” Something which is just too incredibly scary to put into words right now (either that or we made it in a day, you decide)…… And there’s also gonna be a highly, HIGHLY! professional “Ghost Tour” with no expense spared as we have hired a real ghost. Very expensive.  No doubt some ridiculous games shall be played with apples or razor blades and Fancy Dress IS encouraged (not demanded) but please try to remember 2things:  Its Cold in November and high heels don’t like fields.

You can Bring your own Bottle and if your a complete and utter nut ball you can bring your own tent and stay the night if you’d like, though do remember, the field is not a campsite with facilities or even many lights for that matter. Its a field. So we would advise you to not give yourself hypothermia and try to book a taxi or bribe a friend to pick you up so you can have nightmares in your own bed.
